After dinner at Sweet Basil, we spent New Year's Eve at home and then New Years Day at G. & G Tharan's.  Carter is really starting to imitate our actions and expressions.  He claps, cheers, laughs, dances and any other antics that he thinks might elicit a laugh.  He LOVES to entertain!!!  I have some pics from our home cheer competition that Mr. Leahy took of Carter and some of the two of us...coolest thing was that I didn't know he was taking so they are truly candids:)  I'll dowload those soon. 
Carter LOVES to use the Swiffer vac...he unplugs it, turns it off and on and pushes it around.  Enjoy the pics from Jan 2011.  He loves remotes, phones and any other technology.  He enjoys Blue's Clues, Moose & Zee, The Backyardigans and Kai-Lan...still.  He dances to all of the songs!
Another one of his new cute antics is to tuck his hands in against him when he's really tired.  That's the tell'tale sign that he's ready for a nap or bed.

Christmas 2010

I feel awful that I haven't updated since his birthday, so I will do my best to fill you in and then post some pics and videos!

Christmas 2010:  Carter wasn't too interested in opening gifts, but he enjoyed the treasures found inside!  He LOVES to dance.  We're not sure where he's learning all his moves, but he loves to entertain and make us laugh.  These first pics are of him dancing to the music of the caterpillar from Gr & Gr Dye.  He received a piano from Gr. Wendy and Gr. Randy, which he drags from room to room in case he gets the urge to play.  Christmas was busy, as usual, but it was lovely to spend time with Carter and our families.

Books DEF ARE Carter's toy of choice.  He carries books everywhere he goes. He sits and flips through pages as though he's reading.  It's adorable.  He likes to be read to, too.
